I decided to provide account help and protection to the members of the website and guests who are viewing this post currently.
This will be a guide of how to keep your account safe for any website you have joined.
1 - Your password:
Must be unique. Your password must be used for Proboards only! Don't use the same password for your emails, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and/or any other website!
Must be complicated. Use a password that contains numbers, lowercase and uppercase! Don't use simple words that can be easily found in a dictionary of the past and present.
Must not be easily guessable. Don't use your username, real-life name, city, state or anything too easy to guess as your password.
Must not be a date. Do not use dates for your password such as the dates of your birthday.
A lot of people may be sharing account information and don't realize what they're doing. These players are using easy passwords such as 1234, password, and hi.

If you're password is one of the words listed on the list, I recommend you change your password.
2 - Keep your password safe:
Never share your password with anyone. This includes family, friends and significant others. You wouldn't give the key to your castle to everyone, right?
Administrators and Moderators will NEVER ask for your password! A common tactic used by account thieves is to impersonate staff or moderators to ask for your password. Don't trust them at all!
Don't trust websites claiming they'll give you free gifts if you share your nickname and your password!
Don't trust any websites that you have the feeling aren't safe for you, your computer, and/or others.
Change your password often. If you ever suspect your account has been compromised (or found out), change it immediately!
3 - Email:
You can link an e-mail address to your account. Your e-mail is used to make a Probords account. By linking an e-mail address to you account you'll be able to change your password by yourself!
